From Chaos to Clarity: Choosing My Adventure (Part 2)
Fast forward to 2024, and I’m writing this post in Whitefish, Montana:
I completed my master’s degree.
I secured my dream remote job using my degree.
I am single and at peace.
I am still driving my eleven-year-old Jeep.
I hike multiple times a week.
I learned how to cross-country ski.
I no longer obsessively budget, just regular budgeting.
I have made new friends in each new place I have lived.
I took almost three months off of work this year, comfortably.
I am a certified part 107 remote pilot.
I had four rounds of visitors to make new Montana memories with.
If you shared this list with me last year, I’m positive I wouldn’t have believed you. As much as I want to take credit for all I’ve accomplished, it came with immense privilege. I am extraordinarily grateful that I have had this opportunity. Beyond that, I am even more appreciative that I have an audience to share it with.
I don’t know where I will settle down, but I know (with clarity) I will enjoy the adventure of getting there.
